After graduated from Ted Ankara College Private High School in 2010, Rızacan Akın, studied at Bilkent University-Law Faculty between the years 2010-2014. After graduation, he initiated the mandatory internship in the head legal department of Nurol Holding, a highly reputed holding in Turkey. At the same time, he completed the Energy-Arbitration Law Certificate Program within the scope of The Research Institute of Banking and Commercial Law. In 2015, he got the admission from Nottingham Trent University for the LL.M. program of Oil, Gas and Mining Law and achieved a LL.M. degree in 2016 with a thesis titled “A Legal Examinatıon of Cross-Border Natural Gas Trade and the Implications of Unilateral Disruption of Supply: Case Study of Russia -Turkey Cross-Border Gas Trade Relations”. He is fluent in English and mainly focuses on energy and natural resources law, investment law, environmental law and criminal law. Rızacan is a registered attorney before Ankara Bar and a member of Ted Ankara College Alumni and Bilkent University Alumni.
